A Word from Our President

Don't forget to register for your 2016 US Masters Swimming membership. Do so soon to take advantage of all the discounts on our favorite swimming gear! We have two Board Meetings coming up (see the details below) and we'd love to have your input! With the By-Laws amended, we will now begin updating the GRIN Policy Manual. We need to have formal policies in place to follow for the future.

Last month, Meg Carlson and I attended a certification class for Adult Learn to Swim.  We also attended the U.S Masters Program Development training. We will be reaching out to your clubs to be sure you have what you need for the next year from the GRIN Board. In the meantime, please let us know what you need, want, or see as a area for GRIN growth in the future!

See you in the pool!

Swimmingly,
Lisa L. Brown

Congratulations to our Most Amazing Volunteer

Our Most Amazing Volunteer award goes out this month to Donel Hakes from Indy Aquatic Masters. As stated by her teammate, Donel is "always working behind the scenes to make our celebrations grand events. She outdoes herself every time." Congratulations, Donel!

Nominations Needed - Most Talented

Masters swimmers are amazing people - both in and out of the water. This month, we focus on "out of the water." We're looking for your nominations for the Most Talented. Talent can be defined athletically, musically, artistically, etc. Let us know who you believe is the most talented (and what their talent is). Winners will be recognized in next month's newsletter.
