Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls So far we have collected $1187 in donations, 24 pairs of socks and 74 pairs of new athletic shoes to kids who need them! Our Rotary Club is almost to our goal of donating 75 pairs of new shoes to kids who need them through the Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls program. Thank you to all of you who donated!
No problem if you forgot your donation of new shoes or cash last week - this is our last week to get to 75 (or more) pairs. And not incidentally, we also have a chance to show off our generosity a bit to our peer Rotary groups at the 2016 District Conference, April 29-30, 2016. Let's blow the others away!
Each pair of shoes we donate through Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls® shines hope into the life of a vulnerable child. The shoes carry a message of encouragement, they bring a smile to a young face, allow a child to receive an all-important education, and they improve his or her health.
So please bring a pair of new shoes or socks (sizes youth 1 - adult 9) with you to THIS WEEK , April 28, 2016, or you can just simply donate money by filling out the attached form. And keep in mind that each pair of shoes we collect represents a child that will be touched by your generosity. If you would like to make a money donation, click here for the form.
