Joint New Member & Hands-On-Service Project ~ Camp Allyn Beautification Day
On Saturday, May 9, 2015, the new members will be hosting a beautification day at Camp Allyn, to plant trees in the day camp area, along with completing bird blinds. This project will include all new members, along with any other members who can volunteer. The project begins at 10:00 a.m., and will convene once the trees are planted. All volunteers please bring a spade style shovel and work gloves. In choosing the trees, we have partnered with Taking Root and with their expert analysis, the best trees were chosen for disease and pest resistance and soil type. To volunteer, please contact Ken Saunders at ksaunders@searchengineexpertsllc.com or 513-259-1126. We need 20-25 volunteers.

Believe 2 Achieve 2015
Our signature fundraiser, Believe 2 Achieve, in support of our own Camp Allyn/Stepping Stones, Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati, and Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati is coming up fast on June 20, 2015. It once again promises to be an exciting and fun-filled evening hosted again this year by Dean Gregory and his outstanding team at The Montgomery Inn Boathouse from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Dave Lapham and Brad Johansen will team up again as our emcees and they will be joined by our special guest Teddy Kramer of Cincinnati Reds batboy fame! You don't want to miss this special evening and the opportunity to support the children and families we serve in Rotary. Please seriously consider supporting this event by purchasing tickets at $125.00 each or taking a table and inviting your friends and relatives to join you at a table of ten for $1,000.00. All tickets include a full dinner and open bar. Last year this event sold out and Rotary members had to be wait-listed for tickets so DO NOT DELAY, call today!

It's easy to sign-up, just contact Kristy in the Rotary Office at ksuszek@cincinnatirotary.org or send in the completed registration form Believe 2 Achieve Registration Form. We promise you a fun-filled evening you will not forget, all for a wonderful cause!

Believe 2 Achieve Silent Auction Items - DUE MAY 15, 2015
If you are planning to donate an item for the Believe 2 Achieve Silent Auction, please do so by May 15, 2015. Although the event isn't until June 20th, we need time to create baskets and signage, mix and match items, and finalize our table arrangements so that everything looks perfect for the big event! We also are planning to advertise all our items to attendees in advance of the event, so folks can plan what they want to bid on. We have some fantastic items for this year's silent auction, but are still looking for additional items. Please complete one Silent Auction Donation Form for each item you are providing. Forms are also available at the check-in desk during our Thursday meetings. Don't forget to include the fair market value so we know how to begin the bidding. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit Camp Allyn/Stepping Stones, Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati and Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati. Please help us to make this silent auction our most successful! Thanks to all who have donated items and those who will be doing so before May 15th!
