This conversation sheet offers families and individuals a source of reflection and discussion around this week's scripture lesson. And for our young ones: please enjoy this week's children's bulletin.

Receiving of offerings is missing from our order of worship but continues to be important to sustain our church community. We hope if you are able, you will continue to give to the church online or with a check mailed to the church (500 Hope Street, Providence, RI 02906). Thank you!

We invite you to stay online after worship for virtual coffee hour :)
Our New Prayer Garden is Ready!

As many of you know, Michael Duff has been working on creating a garden on the church grounds for his Eagle Scout project. We are excited to share the news that it is complete and ready for visitors! (Please follow social distancing guidelines.) You can find it at the far end of the yard on Mt. Hope Ave.

Some words from Michael:
"Thanks to the guidance and support of Mr Vanderbaan and Mrs Lockheart, as well as the generous donations of other church members, this project was made possible. Special thanks to Mr Vanderbaan for the inspiration and flagstones, to Mrs Lockheart for the benches, to the Moles for the hostas, and a very special thank you to everyone at PPC who made financial donations. I hope that everyone enjoys the garden!"

Thank you so much for creating a beautiful meditative space for us and for the community, Michael!
Help Needed with Yard Work

Suzanne Affigne, our volunteer gardener extraordinaire, normally takes almost total care of the flower garden during the growing season, but this year she has more limits on time and physical ability. Some help with a few tasks would be very much appreciated to keep our garden and play area pleasant and healthy. These tasks are family friendly and can be done any time (please observe social distancing guidelines).

In the flower garden on Hope Street:
  • Leave removal – please be careful in places where leaves have nestled at the base of perennials
  • Removal of dead flower stalks – simply pinch, cut, or gently shake off the hollow grassy stalks and collect them
In the play area:
  • Removal of leaves and twigs
  • Wipe down equipment of accumulated dust and grime
Please bring your own tools (e.g., rake, leaf blower, snippers, cleaning supplies for play equipment). We have a supply of paper yard bags on the south side "porch" you can use for compostable yard waste. Full bags (not too full) can be left behind the church along the fence. If you need to get into the shed to store full bags out of heavy rain or are desperate for a rake, or have any questions, you can call or text Dan Blackford at (401) 808-2605. Thank you for any time you can give – it's a huge help!
Wednesday Prayer "Breakfast" @ 8am via Zoom

**See note above about upgrading to Zoom 5.0 by May 30.**
