Thank you to all who have returned pledge cards for 2019. We have reached 38 pledges to date, just 10 shy of our goal! And the total amount pledged is the highest in our history. Pledge cards and envelopes can be found on the tables in the church entrances. It's never too late to make a financial commitment to the church—subject to change should your circumstances change—and it really does help your leaders plan the ministry of PPC in this new year.
We are happy to report that we crushed our goal of 100 cans for the "Souper Bowl" food drive! As of Sunday morning we had over 160 cans! Our contributions will go to Camp Street Ministries and to the Mayor's city-wide food bank drive. Thank you for your donations!
Have you read the book White Fragility by Dr. Robyn D'Angelo? We invite you to join us for a book discussion at the church this Saturday morning, February 23rd, at 11:00. Meet us in the Hope Room!
In preparation for the Lenten season, we will have a special Mardi Gras/ Shrove celebration themed worship service with fellowship time following.
Our Ash Wednesday worship service will take place on March 6th at 6pm.
And last but not least, Lenten TNT (Tuesday Nights Together) is back! On four consecutive Tuesdays during Lent (March 19 & 26 and April 2 & 9), join us for a potluck dinner at 6pm followed by small groups at 7pm exploring the theme of Cultivating and Letting Go.
