This monthly virtual drop-in group meets to discuss the craft of making theatre,with a Jewish sensibility, and all the steps of the journey. Each month there will be a different moderator to contribute their skills and tools.
February Guest is Kristi Good (she/they) a freelance dramaturg and assistant professor of dramaturgy at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama. She earned a Master’s in Dramaturgy at Villanova Theatre and a PhD in Theatre & Performance Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Her scholarship and interests lean toward theater of trauma and uncovering suppressed narratives, particularly in regards to new play development. Kristi regularly dramaturgs for the Mid-America Theatre Conference Playwriting Symposium, an annual meeting of academic and independent theater artists that features a 10-Minute Play Festival, Fringe Festival, and a 24-Hour Collaboration Project.
