Hi, my name is Carrie.
I am a Public Health and Community Health Education graduate from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Some of my hobbies are painting, tennis, hiking, creative writing, spending time with my dog, spending time with family, and traveling.
I recently joined the team at Alcohol/Drug Council of North Carolina as a creative writer, and I am eager to help those who are struggling with addiction challenges. I began my journey of Recovery in 2016. Choosing to live in sobriety has been the best decision I have ever made for myself. I am passionate about spreading awareness about how one can find help throughout the community. I hope to help others in the same way others have helped me.
