ERIF Newsletter August 2015

Hello there folks!

We’re checking in again with another newsletter to fill you in on the latest from ERIF.

First up, if you’ve ever wanted to get more involved with the work of ERIF’s committee, you may now have the chance! An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Administrative Assistant on our team. Check the vacancies page on our website for all the details and to submit an application!

We are proud to announce our first Parent / Teacher event, which will be held on the 21st November at Munganga Theatre in Amsterdam. For this event we will collaborative with the creators behind the Nigerian cartoon series Bino & Fino. Find more details about the event on our website.

Next – we are also excited to confirm that critical minds from Mediacate Readers will be developing an online course for ERIF and we’ll be running a pilot course later this year. Check here to sign up for more details!

We now have an ongoing Indiegogo donation campaign as we found this to be a great way to raise awareness of our conference last year as well as raise funding. So if you’re feeling generous and love what we do, you can check our campaign page and make a donation here. Don’t forget to share!!!

And finally - speaking of last year’s conference - we can also confirm that our second conference will be hosted at Innsbruck University in Austria in 2016. We’ll keep you posted on all the details.
