A Meridian math teacher and MSU College of Education alumna has been honored with the prestigious Milken Educator award, which has been fondly described as "the Oscars of teaching" for her dedication to her students and the passion she brings to her material. Meet the Staff
 
Kim Johnson- Administrative Assistant, The Learning Center. Born in Greenville, Miss., Johnson received her bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. After working as a student worker in The Learning Center throughout her college career, Johnson was offered her current position in the center after graduating in May 2015. She says,"I look forward to working within the College of Education because I love helping students and working with such great faculty and staff." Interesting Fact: Johnson will be welcoming her first child April 28, 2016! Baby Jase Michael McGee.
