Meet the Staff

Dr. Clay Armstrong- Interim Director of The Learning Center. Originally from Pontotoc, Mississippi, Armstrong received his bachelor's degree in education from Mississippi State University, his master's degree from the University of West Alabama, and recently received his doctorate from Mississippi State as well. Before working in The Learning Center, Armstrong worked for 15 years in education. He says, "Students at Mississippi State should utilize The Learning Center because it is a free avenue to help students succeed. I enjoy helping students here as Interim Director because I want every student to see what a difference education can make on your life and the opportunities it provides." Interesting Fact: Dr. Armstrong has seen Jimmy Buffett in concert 27 times.
