Something not looking quite right?

October is always an exciting time to be on campus

and feel the energy escalate as the campus community of students, faculty, and staff gear into full swing for the new academic year. This October is going to mark a new era for UC Riverside: on October 13, Chancellor Wilcox will announce the launch of UCR’s biggest fundraising initiative ever, Living the Promise: The Campaign for UC Riverside
Please consider joining me and the rest of the UCR community as we celebrate UCR and kick off the campaign on Thursday, October 13 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Free food for the first 1200 guests, live entertainment and much more will be available on the HUB lawn (west of the Bell Tower). Chancellor Wilcox will speak at 12:15 p.m.
The success of UC Riverside is dependent upon the participation of many, including our valued staff and faculty. As a UCR Library employee, you keep the pulse strong across campus. You support university initiatives and programs through your daily contribution of time and talents.

As part of this monumental campaign, the university is asking all faculty and staff to consider supporting the university as a donor. It’s not about the size of your gift, but the passion and motivation behind it. As a campus community, our support shows the rest of the world that we truly believe in UCR and its mission.
No matter the area you support, your commitment will continue to transform UCR into a premier land-grant institution.
You will be hearing more about Living the Promise: The Campaign for UC Riverside over the coming days, months, and years; but as a donor myself, I was thrilled with the opportunity to share it with you first.  To learn more about Living the Promise: The Campaign for UC Riverside, please visit
I hope to see you on October 13. I’ll be there in blue and gold.
