Reusable To-Go Containers

Michigan Dining’s to-go stations are committed to sustainability through the use of their new reusable to-go containers! Each Residential and Premium meal plan holder can now experience a sustainable carry-out service by temporarily “checking out” an environmentally-friendly container, which can then be returned to any dining hall after enjoying the meal. Well-Being and Sustainability

This summer, U-M Student Life Sustainability intern Emily Freeland took a deep dive into the intersection of well-being and sustainability. She researched how other universities are working to make well-being a priority and learned how fostering community resilience can make campuses stronger and more sustainable. Check out her recent blog post to learn about clever initiatives like Dawson College’s Monarch Butterfly Nursery, along with ways U-M is coordinating well-being and sustainability efforts.
