Information on Various Grants  

Visa IFundWomen  
Visa extended its partnership with IFundWomen to support Black Women owned small businesses in the United States of America through a grant program and educational resources.

  • 10 qualified recipients will each receive a $10,000 grant and a 1-year IFundWomen Annual Coaching Membership.

Illinois Business Interruption Grant Application 
This Business Interruption grant program will make $60 million available for 3,500 businesses encountering losses or business interruption as a result of Covid-19. Lowe’s - LISC Partnership  
LISC will provide emergency assistance for small businesses, especially for businesses in underserved communities. Google  
Google commits $175 million to racial equity with focus on Black-owned businesses and supporting Black entrepreneurs. The largest sum of $100 million in funding will be directed towards Black-led venture capital firms, startups, and other organizations focused on Black entrepreneurs.

Facebook  
Facebook directs $200 million to support U.S. Black-Owned businesses, Black creators, communities and non-profits serving the Black community.  

  • $1.1 billion to support Black and diverse suppliers and communities in the U.S by the end of 2021.  

  • $100,000 scholarships to Black students working toward digital skills certifications.  

  • $100 million will be earmarked for Black-owned businesses, creators and non-profits. 

  • $25 million in support of Black content creators and $75 million in grants of cash and ad credits to support Black owned business and non-profits that serve the Black community.

Hello Alice  
This organization is offering $10,000 grants distributed on a rolling basis to Black-owned small businesses that Covid-19 impacted. To learn more and apply for this grant, click on the following link:

IHDA  
Per Gov. J. B. Pritzker’s announcement, starting Aug. 10, 2020, renters can apply for grants of up to $5000 each to cover rent. Starting Aug. 24, 2020, homeowners can apply for up to $15,000 mortgage–relief grants from the Illinois Housing Development Authority. The $150 million Emergency Rental Assistance Program is expected to help 30,000 people in the state.To learn more about this opportunity and apply for these grants, click on the following link: https://www.ihda.org/
