January 20, 2023
Dear Friends,
|
|
I am very excited to announce that the Rev. Alice Graham Grant gave birth to Calvin James Graham on Monday, January 16. We at St Paul’s are so happy for Alice and her husband Benji and daughter Wendall. We look forward to Alice’s return after her parental leave.
This Saturday you’re invited to a Courtyard Workday. This is an opportunity to not only help maintain our courtyard but also spend some time with fellow parishioners and perhaps meet some new folks.
Join us this Sunday for the Adult Formation series on the Gospel of Matthew. And then on Monday Movie Night offers an opportunity to gather at Fortnight Brewery and discuss the movie Hamilton.
See information about the upcoming Episcopal Coalition Habitat for Humanity Build.

Adult Formation
On Sundays from 10:15-11:00 a.m. in the St. Paul’s chapel, join the clergy for a conversation about our lectionary year as we navigate through the Gospel of Matthew. How does this particular gospel shed light on our understanding of who Jesus is? What does this have to tell us about who we are called to be today? See below for the forum schedule.
As we head back to the chapel for our forums, the sessions will no longer be available live via Zoom. Instead, they will be recorded and posted to the St. Paul’s YouTube page afterward. We appreciate your patience and understanding; the recordings should be available within a few days of when the particular forum takes place.

Movie Night!
We are trying something new for Movie Night – in person discussions. The next movie we will discuss will be Hamilton. We plan to meet at Fortnight Brewing Company, which is close to the church, on Monday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m. Fortnight has good outdoor (covered) seating, they offer non-alcoholic drink options in addition to beer, and are OK if you bring your own non-alcoholic drink. If you are interested, watch the movie ahead of time and join us there and then for discussions facilitated by Fr. Javier and Tad Richard. No RSVP required.
Come join us!
