We are busy with many events on Children's Ministry schedule - Communion classes, Lent and planning for VBS are just a few highlights. Please keep in mind that we have changed to a monthly format for this Children's Ministry Update, so keep this email for reference. You will not get a reminder like this every week.

Communion Class Info & Registration
Our children's communion class is designed to deepen a child's understanding of the Holy Eucharist. The class, taught by clergy, is designed for 1st through 3rd graders. The completion of this class is not a prerequisite for receiving communion. Children are encouraged to bring their questions as they experience God's invitation into the sacrament.
Communion classes will meet three Sundays in February from 10:15am to 11am, on the following dates:
Sunday, February 5, 10:15 - 11am
Sunday, February 12, 10:15 - 11am
Sunday, February 19, 10:15 -11am
February 5th, please meet in the church in the southern corner nearest the youth wing door.
The students in this class will be honored on Sunday, February 26th after the 9am service with a special Coffee Hour Hosted By the Children's Ministry Committee.
We will meet at the Food Bank 1924 Capital Blvd, Raleigh Face masks and closed-toed shoes are required.
Please join us for a family-friendly volunteer day! Guardians are required to attend this Pre-EYC event. Siblings ages 5-11 are also welcome to attend. Volunteer projects may include labeling donations and sorting produce.Layered clothing is recommended, as the warehouse may be hot or chilly.

7:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The 6:00 p.m. service is our Children and Families' service, but all are welcome at any service.

COST: $12 (includes shoe rental and 1 hour of bowling)
This is an opportunity for St. Paul’s Pre-EYC (4th and 5th graders) and EYC to get to know each other and have fun together.
Details for the parents:
There will be no dinner served (due to a prohibition on outside food and drink and party rooms under renovation).
We will bowl for 1 hour. Please pick up your child between 6:15-6:30
For Pre-EYC parents, please help your child get the proper shoe size before leaving. ▪
Things will go smoothly if we can pay for the group all at once. Please send $12 cash with your child or you may Venmo Rachel Campbell that day.

Vacation Bible School

VBS will be Monday, June 26th through Friday, June 30th
9am - 12 pm each day.
Children ages 3 through current 5th graders are able to register for a week of time with friends and fun at church! Each day, children will enjoy a lesson with our clergy, along with art, games, snack music and more.
In-person services: Services are at 7:30, 9:00, and 11:15am. on Sundays. You can sign in when you arrive.
Live stream: You can also live stream our Sunday 9:00am service. You do not need a Facebook account to use this link.
The Kids' Club (nursery care) is open for babies and toddlers during the 9am service! The staff at the newly renovated Kids' Club are excited to welcome and care for our littlest children. The Kids' Club is located in the education building.
Children’s Chapel is for kids 3 through 5th grade and takes place during the 9am service. Children start the service with their families and follow the cross (noted in the bulletin) to Children’s Chapel. There they will enjoy a lesson and return to their families for Communion.
