All members of PUUF have received the final version of the revised By-Laws by email. At the brief General Membership Meeting, we will be voting to adopt the new By-Laws. It is important that members attend this meeting or vote by Absentee Ballot.

Thanksgiving Offering Report

Hi All - 

What a wonderful PVIF service last night (11-20) and so grateful for so many who came and thanks to everyone who participated in music, readings and prayer!  Wayne, Starr and I were discussing last night, and we wondered what the offering collected over the last few years has been.  Thought I would send this little report prior to our monthly meeting.

2017    $765.56 (Split with the Idaho Food Bank)
2018    $582.00 (Split with Acorn Fund)
2019    $531.23 (Split with Pocatello Police Department, Secret Santa)
2020     COVID
2021     Drop-off Food Drive for the Idaho Food Bank

2022     $1069 (Split with The Refuge Warming Center)

Summary of October 29 Board
Meeting Minutes

- Call to order at 9:08 a.m.
- Minister's Didactic: 4 Basic Styles of Communication
- Building Committee reported that white boards have been mounted and are ready for use.
- Treasurer reported that we have $100,400 total assets at the end of the month, including recent proceeds from the sale of the Barton Road Property.
- Worship Committee reported that the November 6 service will have Annie Scott, from PWR Congregational Life Team, as our guest to explain the Called Minister concept. December 4 will be a General Membership Meeting following the worship service to adopt the By-Laws.
- Called Minister Committee reported that we will have 4 informal meetings for Members to share their thoughts: November 9, 16 and 30 at Elmer's at 6:00; December 7 on Zoom only.
- Festival of Lights plans are moving forward. The Purpose Building is lined up for December 17, and we have submitted a deposit. The next planning meeting will be November 21 at 7:00 p.m.
- By-Laws have been circulated to the Members. Changes or additions will accepted until November 19; a final version of the By-Laws and absentee ballots will be sent out by November 20.
- Secretary of State Corporation Reinstatement was submitted and fees paid to continue PUUF's legal non-profit status in the State of Idaho.
- Stewardship and Pledge Drive outline was presented, starting on February 10 and concluding on April 15.
- The Board will involve an intern from the ISU English Dept. Professional Writing Program to conduct research and interviews and draft a new set of PUUF Policies and Procedures.
- November offering will go to the South East Idaho Behavioral Crisis Center.
- Next Meeting: Sunday, November 27 at 12:00 p.m.
