Trips around the UK: The Office for Global Engagement have a few more of its regular trips to historic and cultural places of interest coming up. There are trips to Cardiff, Blackpool and Warwick Castle this month. And Culturae Mundi are running a trip to Manchester United's Old Trafford on 8 June.

It's Volunteers Week 2016: Take a look at the range of one-off volunteering opportunities you can get involved with for the remainder of the term. And if you're looking for funding for your own volunteering project, check out the Create a Project competition.

Careers support: The Get Ready, Get Set, Get Hired! event is coming up on 20 June to help you hone your CV, and prepare for interviews and assessment centres. And the Summer Careers Fair follows on 28 June. Plus, if you're looking for advice, there's a new Careers & Skills Pop Up in the Piazza. Whether you're after summer work, graduate jobs, want to know about work experience bursaries, or anything else, come along for a chat.

Should we stay or should we go? There are upcoming panel debates about the referendum on the UK's membership of the European Union on Monday 6 June and on Tuesday 14 June. The deadline to register to vote is 7 June! If you missed Warwick Politics Society's EU Question Time debate, then you can watch it online.

Got unwanted books? Don't throw your old books away at the end of the year. With their Buy Back Scheme, you can bring your old books to the Book & Gift Shop and get up to a 1/3 back of the retail value, wherever you bought them from.

Planning to study, work or volunteer overseas? There's an Intercultural Training Workshop coming up on Monday 6 June. It's the first session in a three-stage programme designed to help you to develop your intercultural competency before, during and after your time overseas, delivered through workshops and online media.

Diversity Calendar competition: Many of you find creative ways to engage with diversity - just take a look at Adesola's Clay Jars Project or Ross's LGBTUA+ role models guide. We're looking for photos that show the diversity of our staff, students or local community. Send us your entry by 17 June for this year's calendar – and take a look at last year’s images for inspiration!

Phishing calls and emails: Be aware that there is currently a telephone scam targeting Tier 4 students from a caller purporting to represent the Home Office. Some of you may have received similar phishing emails in the past - please take a look at our advice on how to protect against them.

Before you go, a few bits of transport news...There's a diversion in place at the front of the Library during the Humanities works. Keep a look out for a new bus service in July, running from Oxford to Birmingham Airport and through campus. The X16 service ends on 5 June. There's new Flexi-pay car parking cards. And have a look at the changes we've made to disabled parking in response to the parking survey.
