Well hasn't it been a challenging time of late? I hope everyone has been coping with the changes to our daily life. Please remember to reach out if you are struggling mentally or emotionally and also if you just need a hand with something. We all need to help one another where we can. I'm happy to help if I can.

There has been a lot of misinformation, conflicting advice and some plain old nastiness within the massage industry. Also a lot of conflicting advice from Government Departments who clearly don't communicate with each other....I can't believe I was surprised by that. Anyway, very stressful at times and no one seemed to want to put anything in writing.

However, Remedial Massage is now listed on NSW Government website under Businesses, Trades and Services that are open. I still had some questions around any restrictions that may apply and can't find any so as of this afternoon I will be offering my normal range of appointment times.

I still will be restricting how many per day I will do just to keep the amount of people I come in contact with to as few as possible.

Everyone must either use the hand sanitiser provided or wash their hands when they arrive and are welcome to do the same as they leave.

You can also be assured that everything is wiped down with a bleach solution in between clients - table, chair, door handles, eftpos machine, pen, tap,  etc etc.

The entire face cradle, including the mechanism, is  wiped down with alcohol wipes one needs to breathing in bleach fumes do they?

Due to the amount of extra cleaning required I need to have more time between appointments.

Following current government guidelines I ask that if you have been:
  • overseas in the last 2 weeks
  • in close or regular contact with anyone displaying flu like symptoms
  • &/or in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19
Please do not make or attend an appointment until you are cleared by the health department.

If you are experiencing flu like symptoms or feeling unwell please call the COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 022 222 or contact your regular GP.

Now onto some more pleasant conversation.

I am selling some wonderful reusable dish cloths which have been crocheted locally. They are 100% cotton, machine washable and $10 each. Range of colours.
I was given one back in September in order to give feedback about how I found it. I love it!!! Washes well and has not deteriorated at all. I have found I rarely even need to use a scourer. I have a few now and like I said I love them.

Looking for another thing to keep you occupied at this time? I'm sure most of us are doing more exercise than normal as a way of getting out of the house so why not sign up for the Mother's Day Classic and help raise some funds while you're out exercising?

Great fun and raises money towards research into breast cancer.
