First Trail Braking Camp Report
Street Skills history was made last Saturday. The first everTrail Braking Camp was held at the Americade Rally in Lake George, NY on September 25.
The course took place smack dab in the middle of the motorcycle demo lot on the Fort William Henry property. It was certainly a spectacle to all those in the vicinity.
All of my planning and preparation paid off. Except for a few wrinkles, the course went as smooth as could be and the participants seemed to really enjoy it. I learned some things to improve and tweak the course, but I feel it's ready for primetime.
Thanks to students George, Steve and Ibrahim for making it happen. You performed fantastic!
Special thanks to my friend, amazing trainer, rider and Street Skills fan Doug Martin for traveling 5 hours each way to volunteer as my assistant. His contributions of time and advice are immeasurable.
I also want to thank Christian, Kim and the wonderful Americade staff for being so welcoming and supportive of my school.
Rider Podcast Interview
Check out my recent guest interview on the Rider Magazine Insider Podcast. Editor-in-Chief, Greg Drevenstedt.
If you haven't used the social media app TikTok yet, it's quite engaging. I decided to take a shot at using it to promote Street Skills and Cornering Confidence.
My account is CorneringCoach and I only put up one video so far. This seems like a great thing for me to do entering the colder months to keep things fresh.
