What We've Been Up To

Happy New Year! We hope that all of you and your families had a safe and enjoyable winter break. As you might have noticed, we skipped the last newsletter date, as most of our organizers took a week or two off, for a well-deserved break!

However, we’re back in action and are planning lots of campaigns, social media posts, and potentially some actions, for when it is safe to do so!

Weekly Strikes Are Cancelled Until Further Notice

Due to the continuous rise in COVID-19 cases in Calgary, and the new restrictions put in place by the government, we will not be holding any in person strikes until further notice. We will continue to keep our presence online strong, and we invite you to keep striking digitally with us! Stay tuned!

Webinar on Ecovide and Indigenous Rights

On Tuesday, January 19th, Stop Ecocide Canada, and RAVEN trust will be hosting a webinar, where panelists will be talking about environmental destruction, Indigenous rights, and their correlations. You can register here.
