What We've Been Up To

Last week, Fridays for Future Calgary participated in the day of action surrounding big banks and their investments in the fossil fuel industry. We put up posters with information about the top five worst banks for climate change, with links to useful resources to learn more and advocate for divestment. You can find photos of them on our Instagram, or in the “Latest Media & Blog Posts” section down below. You can find more information in this linktree.

These posters are always relevant, so if you’d like to put some up in your community, (following temporary signage bylaw, of course) you can download a PDF to print here.

Weekly Strikes Are Cancelled Until Further Notice

Due to the continuous rise in COVID-19 cases in Calgary, and the new restrictions put in place by the government, we will not be holding any in-person strikes until further notice. We will continue to keep our presence online strong, and we invite you to keep striking digitally with us! Stay tuned!
