"Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest." -Jesus

When you abide in a place that isnt mapped out or detailed for you, maybe you get to choose your own schedule or work from home. So, you get me. Not having a title or position in society sounds a little aimless. And yet we know how God calls us to live and be, in His very presence as merely children of God with the Spirit of God in a world around us that desperately needs a savior. It makes it much easier when we find a routine we can have that is comfortable yet challenging, a dynamic that leaves room for God to move in and through us whenever He presents the opportunity and opens a door to share His love!
That's totally us right now in this season! However, we do have a little bit more responsibility in YWAM here too! We now carry the worship ministry for our community in YWAM Ships Corpus Christi. Below you will see a picture of Nate, who will be assisting with the songs on the computer to be displayed on the tv screen during worship. He is excited to learn the tech-y stuff for us and be a team player! The girls are always a huge help as well, they love to worship the Lord, so this is right up their alley!
Not failing to mention Banner, he is doing well with starting some writing and learning letter sounds and forming words with them! He is easy to teach and very eager to learn!
Some points of prayer over ministry ...
**We are planning a mission trip to Mexico in October.
***Also, we are slowly getting our RV lot suitable for having community gatherings! Its a desire we have to create an atmosphere that is welcoming and relaxing with seating, a grill, and hopefully a picnic table! We are joining with God in His desire for us to commune with people, strangers, neighbors, friends..this will be a space for us to gather, eat, have fun, and even worship outside together! Much to do, much to pray over, but we're here, getting settled still, just thankful God is patient and not in a hurry. I was once told by a friend in ministry years ago..that there's "never time wasted waiting on the Lord" I love that He is gentle in leading us to exactly where He plans to plant, settle, prune and grow us. That is when we will thrive not just survive. The girls are slowly making friends as we get to know our church family and God is surely doing much in us as we seek Him for fresh vision and rest!
We appreciate you guys so much! For your prayers and for your giving hearts. We praise and thank God for you! Thanks for keeping up with us and staying in our corner for the long haul!
Hold fast..keep the faith... with grace, Israel and Leslie
