Many young people this summer gave their YES to Jesus and to HIS MINISTRY to serve Him!
We were blessed to be a part of a work of the Holy Spirit at summer camp in Palacios Texas! Below you will see a slide show of our awesome time at camp and at the village church in Diez de Abril, Mexico!

Thank you everyone who gave towards the mission trip! We gave several families, with babies, large mosquito net canopies for beds and also some baby clothes. We were eager to pitch in to help paint the church to give it a fresh look and encourage the new pastors! The Lord had His loving hand on us. We nearly lost our small camper on the road after hitting a speedbump that was unmarked! Thankfully, we were already at a slower speed and the trailer hitch only bumped off the ball and the chains caught it. Watch for the pictures in the slideshow below.

NEWS:
All of our plans we submit to the Lord - as we go - we only see His plan one step at a time. And as He leads and pulls at us, we are drawn certain ways.
Well, about 4 years ago when we were involved in refugee ministry in Colorado Springs, I (Leslie) was helping teach English to Afghan women. They, with their families, were in a resettlement program for refugees. It gave me a desire to complete a course that would train me to help migrants or refugees here or abroad to learn English. This creates beautiful opportunity to engage people with the Gospel. This fall season is the first chance we have had since then for me to pursue a TEFL certification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). This strengthens further our "Living Sent" lifestyle here in Corpus Christi, where we seek to serve God in a life on mission. We are stepping out with purpose and faith in this semi-new venture!
YWAM NEWS:
Our first DTS is set to begin in September! However, we need more students to apply in order to run the DTS. Please pray God sends them in! Israel will be serving in that school during the 3-month lecture phase here.
YES, WE ARE STILL RECEIVING STUDENTS!
Thank you for your prayers as we juggle several things again, as we are starting our first homeschool year with ALL 4 of our kids! Yes, Banner will begin Kindergarten! He is primed and ready to learn to read! We are excited and look forward to all God is doing in, around and through us! For Him! For His glory.
