Building trust and sales in dairy on behalf of Indiana dairy farmers

Winners Drink (Pink) Milk!

Helio Castroneves’s historic 4th win at the Indianapolis 500 brought another piece of history with it. Helio selected 2% milk during the driver poll, but thought ahead to bring his own strawberry powder to match with his pink car and team uniform. After taking the traditional drink of white milk, he added the strawberry flavor to his winning bottle. We are excited about the conversations this has generated around fluid milk innovation and flavored milk in schools, hopefully bringing excitement to lunchrooms across the nation!

Dairy Farmers Share International Spotlight


Jill Houin of Homestead Dairy in Plymouth and Tim Haynes of Superior Dairy in Garrett were on hand to deliver the milk to the winning driver, car owner, and chief mechanic. We are so proud of them for representing Indiana dairy farms and tackling questions about farming and dairy foods to educate the public throughout the month of May and beyond!
 
Registration is open for the Dairy Experience Forum, which will examine the trends impacting consumers and opportunities to grow sales. The event is hosted by New England Dairy with support from ADAI and other state and regional checkoff organizations. Dairy farmers can attend the conference at no cost - find more information here. 
 
The 2021 Indianapolis 500 Milk Person and Indiana Dairy Farmer Jill Houin, partners up with U.S. Olympian Amy Magaña to share their milk stories. This partnership with MilkPEP brings milk into the spotlight during the Olympic season with Team Milk, tying star athletes to the dairy foods that prepare them to be champions. 

Fuel Up To Play 60 Player Ambassador Announced 


We are excited to announce the newest Fuel Up to Play 60 Player Ambassador, standing at 6’ 1”, weighing 184 pounds, Indianapolis Colts Kicker Rodrigo Blankenship! Rodrigo is a life-long milk lover and starts every day with milk or yogurt. He has already fallen in love with dairy farming, kicking off his work with dairy on a virtual tour and visiting Estes dairy farm in Fountaintown in person this spring. Providing Organizational Clarity to
Dairy Industry Groups
