Have we paid you a visit yet?
We have been doing the rounds and the word so far??  Our coffee is good!! There are two ways to get your hands on our coffee car. If you are a site and would like us to make a visit with free and fresh coffee, email us at with the company name, site address and a contact telephone number for someone on site. If you would like to hire our coffee car and Baristas for any corporate events such as executive meetings, email Our Coffeebox is located in Christchurch however we are planning on visiting our other regional offices later in the year.
Accessman Blenheim 
It’s now over 12 months since owners of the Accessman Blenheim branch, Colin and Jenny Francis relocated to their new purpose built building and yard at 7 Sutherland Terrace. It’s  been a great move with customer feedback being very positive. The extra yard space has allowed them to expand their hire fleet to meet the growing demand for access equipment in the Marlborough region

Accessman Timaru
Exciting times in our South Canterbury franchised territory, increased machine numbers as a result of more & more satisfied Accessman customers, has resulted in the branch located in 101 Hilton Highway needing to move to a larger yard. Our branch manager Alan Wilson and our recently employed full time driver Chris Williams are pleased to announce that as of Monday the 24th of August, they will be relocating to 88 Meadows Road Washdyke, next to Downers & just in front of DB Breweries.
More space, a huge undercover workshop area & plenty of access to turn around & or drive through make the move to the Meadows Road site an improved experience for both our existing clients & a continuation of the friendly service any new clients can expect in their interaction with the Accessman brand.
Alan and Chris will be holding a welcome get together for our loyal clients in the spring, but in the meantime look forward to servicing your EWP requirements from their 88 Meadows Rd site from Monday the 24th of August, well sign posted and a warm welcome guaranteed.

Accessman Dunedin would like to welcome Gavin Knox to the team as Fleet & Logistics Supervisor.

Gavin is a returning employee having worked for Accessman Christchurch a number of years ago.

He brings a growing wealth of knowledge of EWP's and the industry and is already proving to be an asset to our team.

Machine log books, why are we required to now fill these in?
This months topic is the log book that you will find hanging in an all weather satchel on each and every Accessman EWP.
The introduction of a log book on all machines has been in place since August 2014, and as part of the Best Practice Guide that the work place inspectors have. You can expect to be asked to prove that you and your staff have completed an entry each and every time you are in control of an EWP.
Simply put, the log book entry you are being asked to complete is to confirm that the individual about to use the machine, has completed an inspection both visually and practically, deeming the machine fit for purpose.
Apart from  the resulting positive confirmation of the machines suitability and condition, the use of the log book entry confirms that the individual in control of the machine has received instruction on its safe use. In addition if the machine is found for any reason  to be unserviceable,  the individual has completed the service section of the log book, to prove that the fault has been reported to the hire provider.
Log books are here to stay! We suggest you think of it in the same way you think about a seat belt in your vehicle. The law tells us we need to wear a seat belt, in the same sense, Best Practice tells us we must complete the log book each and every time we use an EWP. The consequences of not filling it in could result in a warning or personal fine.
