Complaints about park events
Local residents around the park and park users are becoming increasingly concerned about a minority of park users who are meeting in large groups, playing loud music, partying till late at night. The advice is report event adverts to Faraday SNT, large events need to be licensed, the council have put up signs and are doing patrols to intervene early. Read the council response to our email.

Burgess Park Orbital Cycle Route
We are promoting the Burgess Park Orbital, a protected route, to take cyclists who want to travel around the park on a fast, lit route.
Support these improvements by voting for the ideas on Southwark's StreetSpace consultation for active travel. Suggestions residents have already made include; the underpass, tricky corners, road junctions, new cycle routes.
See the full list of suggestions and links to the StreetSpace plan to vote or add your comments.

Wickway Centre redevelopment

Parkhouse local development study
A new local development study by Tibbalds gives a design overview across all of the landowners sites. This proposal is sympathetic to the park with increased set back, lower height and stepped back design from the park edge. This is a very welcome improvement.

preview and our draft comments to Southwark Council. Please add comments or get in touch.
