CST Professor Monica Coleman Publishes New Book on Depression and Faith

Claremont School of Theology’s Dr. Monica Coleman, who teaches theology and African-American religions at CST and who was recently promoted to the position of full professor—making her the first African-American woman full professor at CST–has a new book coming out in July. The book, entitled Bipolar Faith: A Black Woman’s Journey with Depression and Faith, is both a spiritual autobiography and a memoir of mental illness.


2016 Commencement

On Tuesday, May 24th, Claremont School of Theology held the 2016 Commencement Ceremony. Graduates, faculty, alumni/ae, family members and friends gathered for a beautiful ceremony on the lawn in front of Kresge Chapel.
The Commencement speaker was, Jim Winkler, General Secretary and President of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA, a lifelong social justice advocate, Winkler has a deep passion for ecumenical and interreligious work.

4 CST Students Selected for
FTE Doctoral Cohort

Four Ph.D. students from Claremont School of Theology — Toni Bond Leonard, Girim Jung, Eliezer Rolón, and José Francisco Morales — have been selected to participate in the Doctoral Cohort at the Forum for Theological Exploration’s Christian Leadership Forum this summer.
