Tips for getting back on your bike
- Before taking off, check your tyre pressure, brake pads and cables for a safer, smoother ride
- Make sure your front and back light are working and bright enough to be visible before riding at night
- Commuting by bike? Map your route using the maps brochures and guides provided by the Department of Transport. Your cycle route will often be different to the one you drive.
- Did you know you can now legally ride your bike on the footpath? Visit the Department of Transport for more cycling rules, standards and safety.
