On October 27th 2015 Synergy HealthCare Alliance along with NOA diagnostics, Domtar Personal Care, Supply Works, McKesson Medical and Harbor Linen hosted “DINNER AND DRINKS” at Dos Caminos at Harrah’s in New Jersey. The dinner was catered by Yussi’s Deli of Lakewood, NJ who provided a wonderful assortment of sushi, canapés, and warm buffet selections for approximately 200 guests. Attendees included owners and operators of facilities and their invited guests. We appreciated the time we were able to spend with both existing and potential members, and look forward to arranging a similar event next year.

CMS is planning their first mandatory bundled payment program, the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) which will begin on April 1, 2016.  Hospitals in 67 MSAs, including NY and NJ, will be required to participate in a bundled payment model for lower joint replacements and 90-days post hospital discharge.  Avalere Health will review the CCJR model and present key opportunities and challenges for post-acute care providers.
