  From the President's Desk...

In June we enjoyed  a joint lunch with SKAL Sydney North and Sydney South at the Greek Restaurant Aesop in the city, organised by SKAL Sydney North. It was fun and offered the opportunity to network with our other Sydney Skalleagues. AFTA CEO, Jason Westbury was the guest speaker who updated us on ATAS and a few other industry matters. We thank President Scott and his team for making it a great day.
In August our lunch will be at the Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour and we are privileged to have as our guest speaker, Sarina Bratton AM, FAICD, Australasian Chairman of Ponant cruise line. Sarina, frequently termed ‘Australia’s First Lady’ of cruising is an exceptionally inspirational industry celebrity. Sarina has been involved in developing the Australasian cruise industry for over 3 decades, and is a hands on business entrepreneur with extensive experience in start ups, capital raising and leadership. Her extensive CEO experience and respected business acumen has been well recognized as Sarina is the recipient of many awards.

We look forward to seeing you on Wed 13 July.

Christmas In July
Our upcoming event is ‘Christmas in July’ at the Grace Hotel on Wednesday 13th July. Santa will be there and instead of giving presents, he will be collecting presents from us for the Wayside Chapel. We ask everyone to bring some socks and / or underpants, as these are the most needy items for the homeless. We suggest warm versions please. It will be a fun lunch with fines and jokes and you are welcome to bring guests, spouse or partners etc.

Book now for the July meeting!
