Change Your Clocks this Weekend
Fall Back One Hour

Just a friendly reminder...don't want to get to school too early Monday!

On that note, we'd like to take a moment to mention mindfulness and mental health:
October is coming to an end and with that comes shorter days, longer nights, and colder weather. It is common for people to feel the effects of seasons changing, so let's remember to take care of ourselves. Visit our Mental Health Hub page for tons of ideas to support your student and yourself!

We are #TeamJeffco

Sharing stories of adaptability, teamwork, and Jeffco pride.

Julie Schlosser

Digital Teacher Librarian, Bell MS
All Things to All People
Julie is all things to all people. She has put together professional learning that has been so valuable to Bell's educators, not only on all of the new digital tools teachers can use but also on "how to effectively teach on a block schedule." She was a Master Teacher before becoming a digital teacher librarian, but she is impacting even more kids now because of the support she is giving to Bell's teachers. In this environment, her work has made such a difference.

Mary Allietta

Students with Significant Needs, Remote
The Right Person for the Job
When it was shared with Mary she was being reassigned to teach students with significant needs remotely, a completely different type of position, she jumped right in with "Ok, let's figure out how to make this work!" She professionally balanced excitement with having to shift work onto others. "Working to ensure the challenging needs of these students are met, and in a remote environment...I knew Mary was the right person for the job. And I was right!"
