News from GDS Church

We are delighted to welcome you today in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are a visitor, please make yourself known to the welcome team or the minister.

This morning our service will be led by our Minister, Rev. Peter Barber supported by the Ministry & Worship teams and will begin our new sermon series entitled ‘Knowing God’. We also welcome Andrew Mills who will be sharing with our young people.

Our evening service takes place in Saltyard where the theme is "There's a way back" and the scripture is from John 8:2-11. We would be delighted to welcome you at 6pm for a time of relaxation with coffee and cake and the service will start at 6.30pm.

Sunday 3rd November, after the 11am Service. Harvest Lunch in GDS Gorgie:
For several years now we have marked God's goodness to us at this time of year through our Urban Harvest. In the last couple of years however, practical donations to the charities we support have dwindled, so this year something different is planned. We hope to have a Harvest Lunch in the large hall after the morning service on Sunday, 3rd November. Although there will be no charge for the meal, you are invited to make a financial donation which will help support the refitting of the kitchen at Diadem, and the purchase & maintenance of a Publicly Accessible Defibrillator outside our buildings.
