Information of note

Church Christmas Card:
There is a Church Christmas card to sign,  with a message, for those we see each week. The painting is of the church Rose window by the late Margaret Reid. Speak to Norda for more information.

Choose This Christmas to Help the Homeless:
Every day until Saltyard closes for Christmas on the 19th December, GDS Saltyard will offer a simpler menu and you are invited to make a donation for your food and drinks instead of paying our regular charges. Donations will be given to GDS Diadem to support the work of the Bethany Care Shelter for the homeless and rough-sleepers of Edinburgh during the winter months. We encourage you to help make this trial period a successful giving opportunity. Saltyard will be CASH ONLY during this period.

James Brennan:
We have received the sad news that Jim Brennan passed away at home with his daughter at his side, on Saturday 7th December. Jim was an elder at Stenhouse St Aidan's Church and was involved in maintaining the building in good repair;  he attended the first Kirk Session meeting following the Union with Gorgie Dalry.
His funeral service will take place at 3.30pm  on Monday 23rd December at Warriston Crematorium.

Linda Cambell:
We are sad to hear about the passing of Linda Campbell and we remember  Stuart and the family in our prayers at this time.
