Winter 2018 NC State Delta Gamma House News
from the Eta Kappa House Corporation of Delta Gamma Fraternity
Let It Snow!
Snow shut down the campus twice in January, but House Director Janet and Chef Valeria are always prepared to take care of our Delta Gamma collegians. Here's a report from Janet about the most recent snow event.

"We had no Campus Cooks crew here for Wednesday and Thursday. Valeria had left emergency food with instructions for the dinners. We had the salad bar open and meats and cheeses for sandwiches for lunch. Wednesday night, three members helped wash and wrap the potatoes for baking for dinner. We had brisket. Of course, Valeria was available by text or phone if we had any questions. Thursday, I put out fix-your-own-nachos items for lunch. The food truck delivery was Thursday night about 5:30. Kenzie, the chapter's director of house management, helped me put away the frozen and refrigerated foods. She also helped me put the five-pound milk carton in the milk machine. Everyone had plenty to eat, and we always had electricity.

Thankfully, Valeria was back Friday and all is back to normal.

Ally came to clean on Tuesday instead of Wednesday, since we knew we would be snow-bound. It worked out because we needed cleaning from the previous Holiday weekend."
House Corporation Welcomes New President

Katherine Skelton, Delta Beta-Kentucky, was elected president in January.
We look forward to her leadership!  EtaKappaHCPresKS@gmail.com

This is Sous Chef Maggie, who always has a smile.

Delta Gamma is founding a chapter at UNC-Wilmington this semester. Women from our NCSU chapter will be traveling to Wilmington the weekend of February 2 to help establish the new chapter. Anchors Aweigh!
