  • Funding confirmed for schools to support tolerance and respect as Anti-Bullying Week gets underway. This’ll build on the RSHE curriculum [GOV.UK]. Understand your reporting and recording requirements when it comes to bullying.
  • Apprenticeship Incentive for any school that employs an apprentice before 31st January 22- £3k . This is in addition to the £1k that is available for schools who take a 16-18 year old as an apprentice - CLICK HERE
  • Spencer Apprenticeships School Needs Analysis: Schools have been invited to share their feedback on how they use the apprenticeship levy CLICK HERE

Early Career Framework: Late or Delayed Starters 
For schools still onboarding their ECTs, we can confirm that we have

Upcoming Training Dates: ECF Regional Training Days January 2022 
We are excited to announce an array of guest speakers to our January Training dates. Hosted in collaboration with Derby Univeristy, we are excited to welcome mentors and ECTs. 
  • January 12th for Mentors (9am - 4pm)
  • January 13th for ECTs (9am - 4pm)
Whilst we are sad that this is the last opportunity we will have to work with our Mentors face to face, we are excited that CLICK HERE to confirm your attendance
Support for RQT and RQT+1 Colleagues - January 2022
The disruption to training and induction has been felt by our NQTs over the last couple of years. If you would like a support programme for RQTs and RQTs+1, our bespoke primary and secondary training series is tailored for these cohorts with direct input, coaching, pair mentoring and classroom observations - COST: £250 - On demand, we have a new cohort starting in January - CLICK HERE
National Professional Qualifications - February Cohort 
For schools now interested in a February start date to access the full suite of NPQs 2021 2022 fully funded by the DfE, the deadline is January 17th 2022 CLICK HERE

Spotlight: Flexible Work Agenda – Wednesday 1st December 4pm-5.30pm We are welcoming Sam Strickland as a guest speaker to explore the topic of flexible working in schools. With the launch of the Flexible Working Ambassador schools and guidance from the DfE about what flexible working looks like for schools, teachers and non-teaching staff, this is a critical topic for school leaders. With a ‘Flexible Working Toolkit’ to be released, this is a chance for schools to start reflecting on what the implications are for our settings. We welcome all colleagues, including HR colleagues and school business managers, to this session. CLICK HERE for more information 

Spotlight Event: Supporting Children's Speech, Language and Communication 0-5 years – Tuesday 23rd November 4pm - 5pm
