I want to start with an apology - we haven't sent out a newsletter in a long time. We've been really busy which is good, but not a good enough reason not let our friends know what we've been up to!
Below is a compilation of the highlights of the past year - new branding, awards, events and more (not to mention a yummy recipe at the end) - and we promise to start sending you our newsletter every quarter like we used to.
One more thing - we have a new Instagram page with gorgeous new photos - check it out and follow us!
Yours as always,
Hadas Lahav

#NEW SINDYANNA BRANDING
We recently launched our new line of premium fair trade olive oils through a unique collaboration: bringing together Arab and Israeli children to create colorful artwork for the labels of the fair trade olive oil bottles produced in cooperation by their mothers. The children were asked to illustrate the ideas of optimism, togetherness and hope. Speaking two different languages, yet united by endless colors, the children created instant bridges between the two cultures. The result: Extra unified, extra peaceful, extra virgin olive oil.
We've added even more awards to our ever growing list. In fact, so far this year our olive oils have received multiple prizes. Our organic Coratina won a sweep of 2017 awards, including the Prestige Gold award at Terra Olivo in Israel, the Gold medal at BIOL in Italy, the Silver medal at Athena in Greece, and the Bronze medal at IOOC in London. It was also the only fair trade EVOO in the top 50 at BioPress in Germany. In addition, our Barne'a received a Silver medal at Domina IOOC in Italy.
#FANCY FOODS SHOW 2017
We were at the Fancy Foods Show in New York City in June, and were completely overwhelmed with all the visitors who stopped by our booth! The responses and positive feedback to our new line of olive oil were wonderful. We can't wait for all the new opportunities that have been presented to us this year.
#GREAT NEWS ALL AROUND
The Harvest for Peace article in the Olive Oil Times magazine presented our Scottish Grove harvestwhich this year fell around the same time as the Jewish holiday of Sukkot which commemorates the season's harvest and those who reap it, including many volunteers from all over Israel.
