Neues aus Neufundland  / News from Newfoundland

Nach einem Zwischenstopp in Halifax bin ich diesmal mit der Fähre von Nova Scotia nach Neufundland gelangt. Entlang der Westküste und durch den Gros Morne Nationalpark (siehe die Tablelands auf dem Foto unten) ist mein Base-Camp nun und bis zum 4. Juli auf Fogo Island am äußeren Ende der Notre Dame Bay an der Ostküste.
After a stop-over in Halifax I have reached Newfoundland by night ferry from Nova Scotia. Coming along the westcoast and across Gros Morne National Park (see Tablelands below) I am now and until July 4 based in Sandy Cove on Fogo Island at the edge of Notre Dame Bay.

Bis August bin ich in Neufundland und Labrador für mein aktuelles Projekt The Vinland Phenomenon unterwegs, das freundlich von der Stiftung für Kanada-Studien unterstützt wird.
Until August I am doing field studies around the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador for my current project The Vinland Phenomenon, which is kindly supported by the Foundation for Canadian Studies.
