Vestry Statement Regarding Covid-19

The Vestry wanted to update you that we are keeping an eye on the Corona-virus situation. We know there are some concerns about the rising numbers of positive cases in our county, and about the new variant of the disease. We know you are all aware that any time we chose to be in a group of people, including church, we are all assuming some risk. Of course, if you are not comfortable with the risks involved in meeting in groups, we are still streaming online and encourage you to take advantage of that option.

If you are experiencing any symptoms related to Covid please stay home, and we are asking that you let us know in the comment section or through email so that we can pray for you.

Additionally, we wanted to let you know how we have handled it and will seek to handle should we ever hear that someone who has tested positive for the virus attended service or another church event. We will promptly notify those who were in close contact with that individual so that they can be aware and take whatever reasonable precautions they deem necessary.

Finally, there will be no changes to our policies regarding social distancing and mask wearing at this time. We will continue to keep an eye on the data for our county, making adjustments wherever necessary. These policies are not set in stone. We want to keep the ability to adapt them to the changing situation as it would best serve our congregation.

If you have questions about this, or what our church is doing, please let us know. You can send them to
