Our Fundraiser Is A HUM-dinger!

Legacy's year-end campaign is all about wild pollinators—native bees, butterflies, moths, flies, birds and bats.

Why pollinators? Because healthy pollinators = healthy ecosystems.

Most wild pollinators are quite small but they pack a big wallop.

Did you know that about 1 out of every 3 bites of food we eat depends on pollinators—from apples, pears and plums to cucumbers, squash and sunflower seeds?

Native pollinators also pollinate the plants that wildlife depend on for fruits, nuts and berries.

Help us conserve and expand habitats so pollinators have places to live, feed, mate and raise their young.

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!

Our goal is $10,000.
Anonymous supporters have pledged
to match every dollar you donate up to $4710.
That means $9420 toward our conservation goal!

Active during the day this large Hummingbird Moth is a strong flier.

Darting quickly from flower to flower it looks, sounds and flies like a hummingbird.

Hummingbirds are important pollinators.

Long beaks and slender tongues reach deep into tubular flowers that are inaccessible to other pollinators.
