Good Morning, Campaign for Hoosier Families Member!
Tonight (Monday, March 6th) beginning at 6:30 pm the West Lafayette City Council will vote on a resolution that would signal to immigrants that they are welcome, while at the same time maintaining a commitment to protect and defend all citizens equally.  Below is a link to the resolution:

The city council meets in the multi-purpose room at Morton Community Center (222 N. Chauncey Ave., West Lafayette.

As a result of the Trump administration's recent executive orders, there is a concern in the community about how local law enforcement will respond in their interactions with immigrants.  Proponents of the resolution are asking that the city council be proactive in showing that West Lafayette is a welcoming and safe place for all residents. We urge everyone who would like West Lafayette to remain an immigrant friendly city to attend this meeting.

Thank you for helping to support Hoosier Families!
