COVID-19 Update #20
Top News

While some of you may be gearing up for the holiday or staying home, I would like to remind everyone to stay safe and conscious of COVID-19 during the weekend.

Until there is a cure for this disease, all social distancing guidelines should be followed.

A new assessment tool

Governor Northam announced that the Virginia Department of Health is launching a new tool to let people check their symptoms and find the closest testing site to their location.

It's called "COVID Check," a telehealth and online risk assessment tool that you can find: HERE.

Governor Northam said it will ask you for your symptoms, and, based on your responses, give recommendations on what you should do next, including options on where you can go to get testing.

Case Count in VA

5 Additional DMV Offices Set to Open
DMV announced that 5 additional locations are set to open beginning on Tuesday, May 26. Consistent with the 9 offices currently in operation, these 5 locations will focus on assisting customers with services that are only offered in-person. As a reminder, these services will be offered on an appointment-only basis, and customers will be asked to wait in their vehicles prior to their appointment.
