Hi Adventure Philanthropists,

So I’m all moved in. Bins unpacked, clothes on hangers, food in the frig – Nirvana! And the cherry on the cake is all the celebrating I’ve been doing with my San Fran friends!

Adventure Philanthropist: More Fear > My chosen nonprofit for the month of April is Love for Literacy, a nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas that spreads the joy of reading to children living in under-resourced communities.

Remember, 100% of my profits from the sale of More Fear for the month will go to support Love for Literacy’s good work.

The Bonus Chapter is only 99¢ and can be downloaded for both Kindle and iBook / nook. Spread your love of reading with the bambinos of Vegas, baby!

And now for the articles this week:

Fav Post  > Dissecting the Sauna Experience *Video*

I saw the 50 Shades of Grey movie this week. (It was a very bad movie.) But somehow I’m now reminded of the birch tree branches we used in Finland to get the circulation going while taking a traditional sauna… In Finland, sauna is not only a national past time, it’s an art. Here’s how to take a proper sauna:

Photo of the Week > Trio of Children, Uganda

This is one of my all-time favorite photos. I took it 8 years ago, while visiting the Sse Sse Islands, in the middle of Lake Victoria in Uganda. I love the colors and the pensive look on the children’s faces. Such memories!

OK – full disclosure – I was only in my new house for 2 nights before I had to travel to LA for a speech and I’m only there 2 more nights before I take off for a month-long trip.

So I’m settled, kinda. I’m looking at it in terms of baby steps. First the apartment, then the actual staying in the apartment!

See ya on the road,
