First, a bit of good news > It was just announced that 322,009 square miles of ocean surrounding the Pitcairn Islands in the South Pacific has become the largest single marine reserve in the world! Now this pristine, unpolluted part of the ocean will be protected for generations to come.

Lately I’ve been thinking about the historic documents that really resonate with me—those that truly inspire. And not just as a part of the past, but those words that have relevance today. Here’re my top 3 documents that I hold dear:

During my epic adventure, I spent a week scuba diving the waters of the Red Sea. And lucky me! I had two great encounters with sharks – one with a hammerhead and one with 2 legs. Both of my shark sightings left me a little unnerved. Here’s why:

Tomorrow I end my 4.5 years of nomadic living and move into my new San Francisco apartment. Can’t wait to unpack (for the final time!). I am seriously dreaming about hanging my clothes up in the closet…
