Greetings from sunny Southern California! (with apologies to all those living in the Northeast…) Earlier this week, I started my cross-country trek in “Turtle,” my beloved and much mileage-d Prius. First stop on this tour > LA, where I’m happy to be seeing my SoCal friends!

I admit, I’ve pretty much had my share of camels at this point. This one I met while on a 4x4 dune safari in the Abu Dhabi desert. He looks cute – but don’t be fooled!
