The deadline to register for WOMEX 15 (21 - 25 October in Budapest, Hungary) with the Smart Rate is just around the corner - don't forget to register by Friday, 19 June.

We have also confirmed the first round of showcase acts and conference sessions for WOMEX 15 while WOMEX Special Project Circulart (1 - 4 July in Medellín, Colombia) has announced its complete programme.

Final Call for Smart Rate Registrations

This is your last chance to register for WOMEX 15 with the Smart Rate. Make sure you secure the best-value rate by registering online by Friday, 19 June.

Please note, all deadlines are for receipt of payment. From Saturday, 20 June, prices will increase to the Guide Rate. Find out more about what registration includes on our website.

WOMEX 15 Conference Taking Shape

Get a panoramic view of the music scene: we've just confirmed the first conference sessions for WOMEX 15!

Erich Ludwig (USA) from Spotify will take a look at how data is driving the global music scene; Min Kim (South Korea) from Sonic Islands will delve into how artists from Far East Asia are bringing their music to the rest of the world.; Manojna Yeluri (India) from Artistik License will explore folk music, culture, copyright and the law in a digital age; while a number of other sessions will explore visa laws in the UK and Ireland; touring the Balkans; curation and more.

Circulart Announces its Complete Programme

WOMEX Special Project Circulart has finalised its 2015 programme. Professionals from the likes of Soundfriend, EMI, Sound Mexican Institute, LyricFind, CD Baby, Colombian Loop and Berklee College of Music will host conference sessions that examine music and technology, collaboration and how universities further music development.

This year's mentoring programme will see delegates get advice on synch trends, distribution and digital marketing and using festivals as networking platforms among other topics. Delegates are encouraged to secure their spot quickly.

Over 100 artists have been selected to take part in the heavy rotation speed meetings while 30 artists will perform showcases across three stages within the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre: main stage of the Theater, Café Teatro and a platform in the parking lot.

First Showcase Acts for WOMEX 15 Confirmed

It's time to pull back the curtains on the first programme elements for this year's edition of WOMEX. This first group of artists has been selected by the WOMEX Jury, represents part of the Official Selection line-up and features a blend of genres such as hip hop, folk, vaudou, vodou rasin and highlife among many others:

BIME, 28 - 30 October, Spain

BIME: "How New Thinking generates New Incomes" is the first European Music Conference and Festival to focus on Music, New technologies, Marketing and New Revenue, with a special focus on opening up the Latin and South American market.

BIME is focused on two core goals:
1. To be the primary meeting place for European executives to meet partners from Latin and South America.
2. To explore new ideas and ways of collaborating across music and tech to discover and capitalise on new revenue opportunities.
