And please note: we have now left our office in Berlin to our temporary base in Santiago de Compostela. We are still available on all the usual email addresses, but if you wish to contact us by phone, please call: (+34) 881 996 107.

Kind regards from Jim and Paul, on behalf of the whole WOMEX team.

Spotlight on Conference

Our director of communications, Paul Bräuer, has been eagerly perusing his WOMEX Guide trying to decide which elements of the conference programme to attend. You can see his round-up of the highlights over on virtualWOMEX now. (Spoilers: he still can't decide)..

Please note a small change in the Music and Migration conference session from the Guide: Ros Rigby and Sigrid Yanara Palacios-Castillo will now also be joined by Bram Posthumus (The Netherlands/Burkina Faso) of Words&Sounds and Amani Semaan (Lebanon) of Beirut&Beyond.

Arriving from SCQ Airport

The cheapest and easiest way to travel between Santiago de Compostela airport and the city itself is to take the bus. The journey takes 15-20 minutes and buses arrive about every 30 minutes. See the Empresa Freire (bus company) website for full schedules.

You can also find a map and more information on how to get to and from the daytime venue Cidade da Cultura and around Santiago de Compostela at our Useful Info page.

“One of the best programs of music from all over the world” (Gerald Seligman) and "one of the world music radio programs with wider global reach" (World Music Central).
