After months of discussion, work, speculation and countless hours of Zoom meetings with our local partners Hangvető; today, we are thrilled to announce that WOMEX will be opening the registration for the 26th edition taking place this October in Budapest, Hungary.
With the recent positive developments in regards to the controlling of the Coronavirus pandemic and the easing of border controls within the E.U and internationally, we are confident that WOMEX 20 will be able to take place on-site. We are also aware this year's edition will not be the same as previous years as many nations are still battling with this pandemic. However, we aim to achieve this year's event as well as in previous editions and to contribute positively to the massively affected global music economy by bringing as many professionals together and facilitating business, creativity and culture as usual for the times ahead.
I would immensely appreciate your help in sharing this positive news with your readers and followers on as many platforms as possible.
Should you require further details, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me directly or by replying to this email.
Wishing you a lovely summer ahead,
Gaurav Narula
