We are in the early stages of this endeavor and we want your input to help shape our plans. A God So Close, And Laws So Righteous

Rabbi Shai Held

According to Deuteronomy, Israel’s unique God has given it unique laws. If Israel will only follow them, it will be recognized as unique among the nations. Seeking to inspire obedience to the law, Moses offers three arguments on its behalf. Analyzing each of Moses’ arguments in turn can teach us a great deal about the theological vision of Deuteronomy, and of the Torah more broadly.

Read or listen to the full d'var torah here.

With appreciation to Rabbi Shai Held for sharing these beautiful words and to Hadar for making this and many other wonderful divrei torah available online.
Minyan Dafna does not have plans to begin prayer services until we are confident that we can consistently offer services which comply with public health best practices. However, if you are in need of a minyan, please email and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
