Right to Care: Recommendations to Improve VA Systems

Swords to Plowshares recently investigated access to VA and non-VA systems-of-care and measured perceptions of the quality of services among the Swords to Plowshares veteran community. Our findings from this investigation led us to submit a number of recommendations to the Commission on Care earlier this year.

Join Us: Support the Dignity Fund

Proposition I, known as the "Dignity Fund," is a proposed 2% set-aside fund from San Francisco property taxes that is dedicated to increasing services provided for seniors, adults, and veterans with disabilities. This fund will help meet the needs of seniors in our city without raising existing taxes.

We’d like to ask our community to join us and dozens of other community-based organizations in supporting Proposition I this November. The "Dignity Fund" will help Swords and other senior serving groups provide the services needed to keep residents in their communities, healthy and self-sufficient.
