With the COVID-19 crisis shutting down local businesses and agencies, with governance now in a state of emergency, and with direction to stay at home, the community association is extremely limited in its role.
For the time being, all our social activities are canceled. Our social and electronic media presence will continue, and to that end, we want to have a positive impact. One way we hope to do that is by advising what IS available locally. So we will be reporting on what is available.
For example, Golden Crisp has their Thursday special available for take-out. They seem to have a good social distancing protocol, and their hot food is very low risk, compared to recent visits to the supermarket.
MDCA will be updating Facebook and our website, mountdennis.ca. Forward this to your neighbours, and let us know what you think. Viewing in a browser also enables new readers to subscribe.
On a brighter note, Pluto is dispensing advice from his unique perspective, and it is far more to the point that we have heard from some people who should know better. So do a little digging, there are several videos, and you may have to adjust to enable the dialog. Some very sound advice and certainly had us laughing
